Mr. Geoffrey Odundo took on his role as Group Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Nation Media Group Plc (NMG) starting 7th April 2025 after receiving the appointment from Dr. Wilfred D Kiboro. Dr. Wilfred D. Kiboro made this statement during his role as Board Chairman of NMG on 10th March 2025.

As an experienced investment banker, Mr. Odundo demonstrates numerous years of leadership experience through his executive roles. He achieved extraordinary results while serving as the head executive at the Nairobi Securities Exchange (NSE) from 2015 to 2024. Through his strategic leadership, Mr. Kevin Odundo helped the NSE develop into a prominent financial entity leading the region’s market.

Mr. Odundo has been appointed East Africa and announced to succeed the leadership of Stephen Gitagama, who has managed NMG since 2018. The media company makes this appointment at an opportune moment to boost digital transformation initiatives while improving content distribution across multiple platforms.

Before taking his position at NMG, Mr. Odundo worked as Group Executive Advisor for CPF Group as Managing Director of Kingdom Securities; Odundo served as the first CEO of the company before his managerial role at the organization. Mr. Odundo consistently achieved growth outcomes through his leadership and directed significant organizational transformations in his previous executive roles.

Mr. Odundo obtained his MBA in Strategic Management from the United States International University and his Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics and Economics from Egerton University.
